HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR CIRRHOSIS


Cirrhosis is the result of chronic liver diseases that causes scarring of the liver- fibrosis – nodular regeneration – and liver dysfunction. This often has many complications , including accumulation of fluid in the abdomen, bleeding disorders , increases pressure in the blood  vessels and confusion or change in the level of consciousness
Causes- Cirrhosis is caused by  chronic liver diseases . Common cause of chronic liver diseases include hepatitis C infection and long term alcoholic abuse.Other causes of cirrhosis include hepatitis B, medications, autoimmune inflammation of the liver, disorders of the drainage system of the liver, and metabolic disorders of iron and copper
Symptoms- Ascites, swelling of legs, vomiting of blood, confusion, jaundice, small red spider – like blood vessels on the skin, weakness, weight loss, nausea and vomiting, stools pale and clay colored, abdominal pain , indigestion , nose bleed or bleeding gums, gynaecomastia
HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES
CURCUMA LONGA –Q- Head remedy for cirrhosis. It is found to be an almost specific remedy for cirrhosis
CHELIDONIUM MAJUS –Q—Liver enlarged., tender to touch.Constant pain under the inferior angle of the right scapula, Jaundice. Nausea and vomiting all the time. Chronic diarrhea with liver troubles
CHIONANTHUS  -Q—Chronic jaundice. Urine almost black.Hypertrophy of the liver with constipation. Soreness in the region of liver. Skin yellow, sallow. Tongue yellow
LYCOPODIUM 200—Cirrhosis of liver with ascites, especially in drunkards. Sour, putrid taste in the morning on rising.Flatulence with great fermentation of bowel
MERC. SOL 200—Liver enlarged and sore to touch. Deficient bile secreation. Skin moist and itching. Worse in the evening and in the night
NUX VOMICA  200- Liver problems in drunkards. Liver sluggish, does not produce enough bile. Appetite decreased , no thirst. Worse in the evening
PHOSPHORUS 200—Faty degeneration of the liver. Liver congested and sore. Haematogenous jaundice. Large yellow spots on abdomen. Grayish white stool

NATRUM SULPH 200- Cirrhosis of liver. Yellow creamy coating at the back part of the tongue and roof of the mouth
